Call for Nominations: 2007-2008 Executive Board

The time has come to nominate officers for the NENA-TX Chapter 2007-2008 Executive Board. This board will serve one year after taking the oath of office August 29, 2007 at the closing session of the Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas and will.

• Each nominee must be an active member of NENA.
• Nominees for Vice President must have held an elected office in the Chapter for one year prior to being elected to this office.
• Nominees for state coordinator positions should reside in the region in which they are being nominated.

There are a total of four (4) Regional Coordinator offices up for election. Regional Coordinators serve alternating two-year terms. The Secretary position is a separate office is also up for election.

Nomination deadline is Monday, June 11, 2007. Please either return the hardcopy nominations form (see recepient information below) or complete the online version. Nominations must include the individual’s name, agency, address, phone number and email address. This information is necessary in order for the Nominations Committee to contact the nominee and verify interest in running for office.

After receipt of nominations, the nominating committee will work to verify individuals’ interest in running for the office for which they were nominated. Ballots will be mailed July 3, 2007 to all active TX-NENA members.
